Marta Viktorija Agruma
The main artistic interest of Marta Viktorija Agruma (b. 1994) is the process of abstraction
which she explores in the form of objects, paintings and video. Often using natural elements as both characters and instruments, Marta Viktorija weaves a net of questions regarding the depiction of the invisible, allowing its materialities and textures to provide their answers.
Marta Viktorija Agruma holds a bachelor’s degree in painting from Art Academy of Latvia (AAL) and in 2023 she obtained a master’s degree in the interdisciplinary programme POST (AAL).
